Storyline

Out of compassion Delinda buys some chips from a crying woman. It isn't long before she finds out they are counterfeit. Danny meets a girl at the pool, who is getting harassed by a man. He falls in love instantly and she seems to like him very well too. Sam is trying to accommodate two wealthy men. They are driving her crazy by making ridiculous requests and are constantly making wagers. Meanwhile Mary is feeling sorry for Cosme and Leonor, a Filipino couple, who lost practically all their money on the roulette table. Now they don't have the money to buy tickets for singer Wayne Newton, the reason to go the casino in the first place as Cosme is a big fan. Mary tries to get hold of some tickets and discovers Cosme has a special talent. Written by Arnoud Tiele (imdb@tiele.nl)

Trivia

Vincent Ventresca and Paul Ben-Victor were co-stars in the sci-fi series The Invisible Man (2000). Greg Yaitanes also directed various episodes from the series. When Greg read the script for this episode and it called for two lifelong buddies, he immediately thought of Paul and Vincent. Las Vegas executive producer and show runner 'Gary Scott Thompson (I)' didn't know who they were but upon seeing their faces, recognized them and knew they could pull it off. There is, however, no connection to The Invisible Man series in terms of any form of crossover. See more »
