Storyline

Cletus Grogan is a man who believes he is a jinx to the world around him. He is a childhood friend of Reese whose entry into Laredo would indicate the jinx is still strong. Reese pushes him to join the Rangers and the four men are sent to track down Linda Little Trees and several other outlaws that have banded together. Chad has plans to use Cletus's jinx ability in a poker game but each of the rangers finds himself a victim of the jinx as they trail the outlaws to the town of Simpkin where they robbed the bank. Joe goes ahead to track the outlaws while the others take care of their jinx related problems. Joe is captured by Linda who becomes infatuated with him. The other three rangers catch up with the outlaws resulting in Chad and Reese in a gunfight with them. Reese decides to fake a wound to trick Cletus into tackling the outlaws which he does successfully. Everyone including Cletus finally believe the jinx is broken but maybe it was simply transferred - to another ranger! Written by Anonymous

The ultimate in sad sack
6 December 2016 | by (Buffalo, New York) – See all my reviews

An old friend from the childhood of Reese Bennett arrives in Laredo and Neville Brand welcomes him. He's the only one who does because Albert Salmi carries around with him the reputation of being a king size jinx.

Failing to obtain other work and bad luck happening to people in close proximity of one what else is Salmi to do but join the Rangers. They've got a mission, notorious outlaw Shelley Morrison is back leading a new and which also includes another Indian looking to make her his squaw played by Ralph Manza.

Salmi who usually plays some really vicious characters reverses type her and is truly the ultimate in sad sack. As for Morrison, she's making her second appearance as Linda LittleFeathers a woman of few words who still gets her point across. William Smith is kidnapped and strung up like a side of beef at a butcher store. And Morrison eyes him as such. That bit comes into a later Laredo story with Morrison.

Funniest bit is when Salmi trying to help as always dislocates Peter Brown's shoulder.

A Murphy's law Laredo story.
