An angry citizen presses Parmalee to send men out at night to track a group of men who robbed him. Parmalee decides to send the three Rangers when a man riding into Laredo with a dangerous and familiar look to Parmalee causes him to keep Reese in town to watch the man. At the same time Reese reminds the men that the next day is Parmalee's four year anniversary with the Rangers in Laredo. They decide to throw him a party with Reese handling the details. After learning the name of the stranger at the hotel, Reese finds the saloon's cook is gone so he decides to bake the cake himself. Chad and Joe catch some of the robbers and recover $1700. Parmalee searches for why the stranger is familiar to him. Looking through old papers Parmalee discovers the man's earlier name. He and Parmalee shot each other when Parmalee arrested and sent him to prison. Reese and Joe work on the cake "recipe" with strange results. Parmalee visits Big Mike Kelly who challenges him. Parmalee tells the Rangers to stay out of it but they try to psych out Kelly. In the end Reese has a very unusual cake for Parmalee - a day early.- Written by Anonymous
