Storyline

Daisy Cooper hoodwinks Slim Sherman and Jess Harper into painting the barn roof while she and Mike head to town, much to their chagrin. Neither Slim nor Jess planned on Ben, Carl and John Sanford using Sherman Ranch to hang Joe Vance, who's being transferred to Fort Leavenworth. Vance murdered Warren Sanford and Ben is after his own brand of justice and not what the court handed out. Slim and Jess are trapped into helping when the Sanford's threaten to harm Daisy and Mike if they don't. It's one of the Sanford's though, that springs the trap for Vance prematurely, allowing Slim and Jess the opening they need to stop the murderous Carl from going too far. Written by DarSpi
