For the most part the cast regulars from Laramie aren't required to do much as
the would be regulars of a proposed pilot take over for this episode. Robert
Fuller has the most screen time. But he's seriously wounded after warning the US
Marshals of an impending attack by outlaw Robert J. Wilke who is trying to free
his brother Dennis Patrick.
Marshals David McLean, William Bryant and their driver Reginald Gardiner with a wounded Jess Harper go to the next town for a doctor. But its an outlaw town with Wilke the big kahuna. He wants his brother before he allows a doctor to treat Robert Fuller.
These guys operate a prison wagon which back in the old west was nicknamed a tumbleweed wagon. It might have made an interesting series especially with the incongruous Gardiner part of the cast.
