Storyline

Sam Jarrad is a bounty hunter turned sheriff of Willow, Colorado and Jess Harper has become a man with a price on his head for killing Blake Wilkie. Jarrad comes to Laramie with a warrant for Jess, an affidavit from a dead man and his eye on the bounty. Jess has no choice to but to go with Jarrad but Slim is hot on their trail after being deputized by the Laramie sheriff to see that Jess makes it to Willow alive. The Wilkies own Willow and Jess doesn't believe he'll get a fair trial, despite Slim's assurances, and effects an escape. Exhausted, Jess is easily recaptured, which puts him at odds with Slim. When word spreads that Jarrad has Jess in custody, it's fair game for others to collect the price on Jess' head. But the burning question is if neither Jess nor his dead partner killed Blake Wilkie, then the person who did is framing Jess for murder and doesn't want him making it to Willow alive.
