Doc Longley is a wily old outlaw looking to live out his last years in peace where he grew up, which is Laramie. Someone in his gang doesn't want him to and they've framed him for the murder of the deputy sheriff in Laramie. With no one to trust Longley turns to Slim Sherman for help, to the dismay of the young rancher. Slim owes Longley his life having been saved by the outlaw when he was a boy.
