What his father is really like
22 February 2017 | by See all my reviews

Jean Byron, mortally ill arrives with her son Stephen Barringer at the Sherman Stagecoach station. Before she dies she gets the guys to promise to take her kid to her sister rather than his father John Anderson who is a notorious outlaw and killer. He has a ranch the way the Clanton gang had a ranch.

Robert Fuller is the one escorting the kid and he first has to deal with bounty hunters looking for a pay day on Anderson. Bad enough, but only the fact that Barringer begs Anderson to keep Fuller alive.

The episode revolves around Fuller trying desperately to get Barringer to see what his father is really like. He has a couple of close calls before the boy sees what his father is all about.

Jan Shepard is in the cast also as a doxey who Anderson keeps around to beat or have sex with as the mood strikes him. She's one you'll remember from this Laramie story.
