A Fine End To Season One
18 February 2015 | by See all my reviews

Kobick (Kevin Hagen) requests help from the little people.

I am a little uncomfortable with the idea of Kobick leaving a captured little person all alone in his office...even if she is contained by a force field. Kobick never let such a thing happen in the recent Seven Little Indians episode, so why now?

But with the exception of that plot hole, The Chase is a fine adventure hour with a well matched Leith Stevens score which helps keep the whole hour moving.

Kobick really did give a lift to the second half of season one with episodes like The Chase. It is too bad the character was less used in season two. I am not sure why Kobick was less used later, perhaps Irwin or ABC did not want the series to be another version of QM's The Fugitive (1963-67)...a series which also had a Kobick-like character chasing down a fugitive all the time.
