A Young Sam Elliott!
11 July 2009 | by See all my reviews

I couldn't help but snicker at an incredibly young Sam Elliott here, as a youth wrongly accused by a villainous elderly couple of thievery.

Anne Seymour is the unscrupulous wife of the pair and if she were a better actress, she might have stole this show. As it is, here she simply looks frightening, tho not dominating the scene.

If this woman held a gun on me, and my mind were momentarily distracted, I would forget all about her being there with that rifle.

But the young Elliott, ten years before he would be with Katherine Ross and Roger Daltry in The Legacy (if I got the right title, don't matter) with all the rich Europeans dying bizarre and different deaths, stood out the most to me, and that ain't saying much. He still just kind of lumbered his way thru the scenes. No more dynamic than he was or is later on in life.

At least this time the adventure took place on the farm and in a jail, not in the city as others were done.
