During filming, the producers discovered that Deanna Lund's costume showed a little too much cleavage for network standards and put a patch over it to cover it up. However, from scene to scene the patch mysteriously disappears and reappears. See more »

50 Minutes Of Wonderful Images

The earthlings are sent to the other end of the land known as The Graveyard Of Fools.

A 1993 book called, The Giants are Coming, has suggested that this episode and another season two episode, Land Of The Lost, are linked. What do you think? Is the "Land Of The Lost" and the "Graveyard" actually the same place?

I was a bit uncomfortable with the cheap old-fashioned directing trick of getting Steve and Fitz to grab someone in the graveyard. Considering where they were you would think they would talk instead of grab. A couple of other less important problems in the hour as well...but other than that...Graveyard Of Fools in fine.

You could watch this with the volume down to get the full enjoyment from it. The hour just jumps from one great colourful image or set to another. Fans of Irwin Allen's City Beneath The Sea (1971) will see a set from that film in here. Also, part of submarine Seaview is present.

This is all style-over-substance stuff, if you are looking for great storytelling you may struggle with the hour, but if you want to see "manchild" Irwin Allen playing in his graveyard backyard...you just might get a blast from it.
