When Peter and Everett go meet Kwai Chang Caine at the Golden Dragon café, pedestrians can be seen through the window behind the actors stopping and staring directly at the cameras and cranking their necks above others to get a better view. Since the characters are only chatting peacefully, there was no motivation for passersby to stare, if not for the fact that they are unpaid "extras" obviously looking at a TV show filming.
