Soon-Tek Oh makes his final appearance
14 June 2010 | by (Youngstown,Ohio) – See all my reviews

During the third season, the Western format was interrupted by 5 episodes set in Imperial China, prior to Caine's flight to America. All but the last were set at the Shaolin Temple, expanding the usual roles for Philip Ahn and Keye Luke, and this entry was the first.Soon-Tek Oh bows out of the series, playing a young challenger who vows to take many lives unless he is acknowledged by Master Kan.Victoria Racimo("Prophecy")portrays his sister,Lady Mei Wu,who believes another force is responsible for the actions of her kind and gentle brother.Chosen to do battle against her brother is disciple Huo(Frank Michael Liu),using a new weapon of his own design, while Master Po sends Caine off to a distant palace with Lady Mei,where the true source of evil lies in wait. Also appearing is veteran Richard Loo,not as Master Sun,but as Ho Fai,The Weapons Master, who is responsible for training Huo.This is the first episode in which Master Kan's full name is revealed as Chen Ming Kan.4 of the next 8 episodes were also set in China, leaving only 6 entries beyond that.
