Decent, But That's About It
7 May 2012 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This episode was "fair," meaning it was okay but a bit below-average because the bar is set high for this series, particularly beginning with Season Two on up.

Roger Robinson is back as "Gil Weaver," but he's not happy about this assignment. A former childhood friend of his is a bad guy but "Gil" doesn't want to acknowledge it and especially doesn't want to be in on a sting to get "Richie Lindon" (James A. Watson Jr.). However, Kojak is sympathetic and offers as much help as he can.

There are a bunch of crooks in here, not just "Richie," and they are somewhat interesting to watch, but the story just isn't as riveting as usual.
