Near the end of the show, Kojak drives into the cemetery with his red light on his roof facing forward with the fat side forward and the narrow side of the teardrop-shaped light dome facing to the rear of the car's roof. As he drives away in the closing scene, the light is situated sideways on his roof with the fat side facing the passenger side of the car and the narrow side of the light now facing the driver's side while on the roof. Pistol Packing Sister
19 March 2013 | by (Buffalo, New York) – See all my reviews

As it always happens on TV and real life when a cop is killed in the line of duty the police work 24/7 to get that particular bad guy. In this case a cop who was bodyguard to two witnesses was shot dead along with those witnesses coming out of a seafood restaurant. Of course the cop was from Manhattan South.

The witnesses were a pilot and an airline stewardess. The stewardess had a sister who was in fact a sister in a convent back home in Dayton, Ohio. Telly Savalas has to break the news to her. But this nun decides to take matters into her own hands. She forgot that saying in the good book about vengeance being mine sayeth the Lord.

Unfortunately I have to give this one away. The nun turns out to be the one killed, she was in her civvies at the time they were going out. A fact that is reinforced when Kojak finally confronts the witness played by Season Hubley she pulls off the habit and reveals her long blond tresses.

Now I would think they would have caught on long before that, like when the bodies were at the morgue and the victim had a wig on when she was going out as we plainly saw when the victims were gunned down. Big big error.

Gloria Grahame is in this ever so briefly as the wife of the hit-man who gunned these people down. Why she took such a small role God only knows but I always like to see more of her.

They were really slipping on this episode.
