Michael picks up a hitchhiker who's looking for her daughter. When he defends her from a couple of bikers from the Satan's Stompers motorcycle club, he ends up charged with second Degree murder, and only the hitchhiker, who disappeared during the foray, can testify that it wasn't murder.

Lukewarm episode that doesn't end season 1 with a bang, but it still pleasant, especially with the little girl talking with KITT. He might've been made out components, but he's very human. Some good action in a deserted western town and fistfight between Knight and the bad hombre.

Well this episode certainly had some good tunes, night moves and sweet home Alabama. The storyline was fairly decent though the car chase scenes were forced and the acting was mediocre.

Short Notice

With legendary cult actor and tough guy William Smith and Robin Curtis who would go on to play Lt Saavik in the Star Trek movies the viewer certainly expects something special.

Michael Knight is charged with murder after shooting a Hells Angel type biker in self defence. To clear his name he needs to find a hitchhiker who is an important witness but she is on the run from her criminal ex husband who is the leader of the gang of bikers and who sent the goons to rough her up. The ex husband has custody of their daughter. When Michael finds her she agrees to help but only if Knight snatches back her daughter.

I thought this was rather a run of the mill episode. It featured a man being ejected from KITT and several songs such as Sweet Home Alabama and Knight Moves.

However some of the scenes at the Universal backlot just looked cheap and let us be honest, Smith could beat up Michael blindfolded and with both hands tied behind his back.
