Watch For the Camera Shake At the End of the Episode
26 January 2007 | by See all my reviews

Carrie talks Doug into taking Arthur with him to a basketball game that Doug had just won tickets to. Doug had wanted to take his buddy Deacon, but ARthur had made comments about wanting to spend more time with Doug, so Carrie had her idea.

Doug reluctantly agrees (mainly because Carrie says if Doug does this for ARthur, she will never ask him to do anything else ever again where Arthur is concerned) so Doug leaps at it.

Conflicts ensue, as first Arthur takes too many sleeping pills to calm his nerves on the flight, then wanders off at the airport, and then overhears Doug telling the guy at the gate how annoying Arthur is, and it all hits the fan then.

Carrie, meahwhile, wanting to have some time to herself, must contend with Doug's visiting father.

In the end, Doug must be content with watching the game on a TV at the airport, and then he runs out of change, so the TV goes off.

ARthur appears with souvenirs.

"Which do you want, the snow globe or the cheeseboard?" Doug takes the globe and smashes it on the floor.

"the cheeseboard it is," Arthur replies.

But notice when Kevin James (Doug) hurls that globe to the floor, the camera shakes.
