Trivia

In this and many of the later episodes, David Griffin (Emmett Hawksworth) is noticeably haggard, and also paler and gaunter. This was because the actor was being treated for cancer at the time. However it is incorporated into the plot line and explained during this episode: due to terror of going outside and maybe running into Hyacinth, he has stayed indoors for an unhealthily long time, and it has given him "prison pallor". Goofs

When Hyacinth wraps Richard's foot in the bandage, it looks as though the bandage is wrapped around his shoe. Later, when Richard and Hyacinth leave the house, the bandage is bigger around the toe area and looks like a big sock. See more »
