John Thaw and Shiela Hancock together, what a treat!
16 April 2010 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

When I heard that husband and wife John Thaw and Shiela Hancock were going to star together in this episode, he as the lawyer she as the wife of the victim, I was so excited. I watched Blood Money and I wasn't disappointed. I don't know about you but I think Thaw and Hancock work really well together, Thaw is excellent as Kavanagh and Hancock established herself as one of the better supporting actresses in the history of the show's run. There is also the compelling story concerning negligence, and some intelligent scripting. The production values are first rate as pretty much always, and the music is superb. The direction is also good, but the main attraction is the chemistry between John Thaw and Shiela Hancock, they make the episode worth watching on their own. 10/10 Bethany Cox
