IMDbTV Pick: Showtime's "Penny Dreadful"

The subtle trick Showtime's "Penny Dreadful is that it is far less about the blood, gore and the specter of gruesome death than the sharp pain and exhilarating pleasure of living, and the terror of feeling alone even in close company. Read our review in the May Picks section.

Storyline

Spikes scouts out for some food right till he runs into Teddy Bomber, a serial bomber who plants Teddy Bear bombs inside skyscrapers. Who in fact has a good bounty on his head. Spike tries to catch him right until he was cut off by Andy a bounty hunter who has all the characteristics of an average cowboy. He attempts to catch Teddy Bomber for himself, but Spike tells him that it's his bounty. Teddy Bomber easily escapes while the 2 hot headed bounty hunters argue. Spike tries to get Teddy at his next attempt, but Andy would be there for the same thing. It becomes a showdown on who's the real cowboy here. And how will Teddy Bomber get captured for his actions on using Teddy Bears for bombs? Written by J LeGault
