A cold open, Superman kills a President Luther. No just kidding, no it was all a dream. And they don't take it back, but thankfully there's always the multiverse. Superman becomes a complex and interesting villain, and the writers basically take the guard rails off. The students disperse at the first sight of GL and Hawk, because the lords are super powered killers that run the world! And they did this mid season, not a finale, just an arc. This also sets up the long term arc of Luther for President and the death of the flash.
