An unusual episode of Juliet Bravo. Dark, emotional and disturbing.
A doctor has been attacking young girls. One of them seeks help from John, the youth worker who is Kate's boyfriend. She manages to give a good description of the attacker.
It is not the case of the police hunting for the attacker. The doctor gives himself up as he decides not to take an overdose.
The episode examines the effect on his wife and daughter. With the doctor refusing to see his wife, she is hit like a bolt from the blue. The police want to know if she suspected anything about her husband's behaviour. (Shades of the Yorkshire Ripper case.)
The daughter is attacked at school and their home is damaged. Kate finds herself protecting the family and getting the doctor to talk to his wife.
An emotionally charged and well acted by the guest cast.
