After foiling an assassination attempt on Governor Croque during a dinner party, Jack and Em meet with Annie, the would-be assassin, who tells them the sad story of her parents, jailed for non-payment of the governor's taxes. They promise to help her. Jack's primary mission though, is to retrieve gold stolen from an American ship by the governor. Em's new invention, elastic rope made from the sap of the rubber plant, should allow the Dragoon to swoop down from a bridge and snatch the gold in transit to the governor's vault. When that plan is spoiled by the arrival of Captain Brogard, the only option remaining is to crack the governor's vault. Written by MayorDefacto <MayorDefacto@gmail.com>
