Great Show
3 April 2017 | by (Claremont,USA) – See all my reviews

All in all, a riveting, star-studded show. Don't be fooled—Wayne's first introduced from the audience like that will be all, but later he becomes part of the act. The first part is typical Benny banter in front of the curtain, especially with Frank Fontaine doing a goofy rubber- faced character that amounts to a real hoot. Then there's songstress Morgan belting (and I do mean belting) out a song. Later, she too gets into the act as Wayne's star-struck companion. And for those early TV fans there's Betty Furness, the Westinghouse door opener, who's intro'ed from the audience. However, don't look for Mary or Rochchester, while Don Wilson puts in a brief appearance. And catch the guy making sound effects fun of the show's sponsor, State Farm Insurance. Sum total is an unusually funny and varied half-hour.
