Trivia

The fictional US submarine in this episode is USS Watertown (SSN-696), presumably named for Watertown, New York, whereas the real SSN-696 is USS New York City, of the Los Angeles class. The only ship of the US Navy named Watertown was USS Watertown (AGM-6), which served 1960-72 as a missile-range instrumentation vessel. See more »
