Bud is sent (unaccompanied) to the desert to interview a deserter from an earlier Gulf War, but Sturgis is less than enamoured at the news. Harm is given an hour to clear his desk - the Admiral had processed his resignation the next day, meaning that Harm has been a civilian for 72 hours.
