The Series
2 November 2007 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This was the one of the best shows on TV. I must say it was on the same level as Gunsmoke, Mash, and a few others. The actors seem to be made for the parts they played, and seeing them every week was like inviting an old friend into your home. You wondered out loud to yourself if and when Harm and Mac would ever get together. The parts of the show on the aircraft carriers were breathtaking with the Tomcats landing and taking off. The dogfights in the air, and the battle scenes gave you an idea just how good these F-14's would be in a real war. I have seen all the shows, either in the re-runs, or when they were first aired. I still watch them today whenever I get a chance to see them again. It's sad it had to end, but like all good things ....life goes on. Good luck to all the actors involved, and I hope they all connect with another great show.
