The Oil Man and the Sea
wes-connors21 February 2012
In order to investigate rarely seen patriarch Cyril Delevanti (as John B. Cannon) and his oil dealings with Communists, womanizing Alexander "Al" Mundy (Robert Wagner) goes undercover as a merchant seaman. A sickening potion administered by superior Noah Bain (Malachi Throne) gets Mundy ensconced in the family mansion. Although he seems like a capable and likable man, Mundy has trouble getting upstairs. The family dog "Brutus" turns against him and guards the staircase...

Mundy is helped, by pigtailed pre-teen Cindy Eilbacher (as Charlotte "Charlie" Cannon). She is really cute, and knows how to point. Suspicious daughter Geraldine Brooks (as Andrea) and sneaky partner Gordon Pinsent (as Gerald Lockridge) try to get in the way. Sexually-charged Carla Borelli (as Laura Cannon) tries to arouse Mr. Wagner, without success. He has to prove "The Family" is somehow involved with dirty oil dealings, during an hour that is not all that involving...

**** The Family (4/1/69) Joseph Sargent ~ Robert Wagner, Cindy Eilbacher, Geraldine Brooks, Gordon Pinsent
