Warning: Spoilers
This B&W series opener established the premise when Dr. Peter Brady was conducting a lab experiment and an accident occurred and he became invisible. A married family man with a wife and a young daughter, Dr. Brady grappled desperately with his problem after a fellow scientist stole his papers with his research. Brady uses his invisible nature to gain the upper hand and thwart his colleague from getting away with the goods. Dispute its fairly threadbare budget, the show moves at a fast pace and performances are strong without going overboard. None of the characters came from the novel, and our protagonist is a good sort. The producers do a good job with their special effects. A straightforward yarn.

Secret Experiment
Prismark1010 April 2022
A mishap in a laboratory causes scientist Peter Brady to become invisible along with his clothes.

An invisible man. The British government wants him locked up but Peter wants to be cured.

Peter goes to see another scientist called Crompton who has been doing studies on light refraction.

Instead of looking to cure Peter, Crompton tells him about all the advantages he will have by being invisible.

Crompton hits Peter on the head and steals his notes. Peter gives chase after the government discovers that Crompton has not given them the notes.

The series is only nominally based on HG Wells classic novel. As the beginning of an adventure series, the first episode is mundane and dull. Even badly written.
