Did You Know?

Begins with the character Jolene playing Goldberg Variations. This same piece of music was later used in The Silence of the Lambs (1991) for the scene in which Hannibal Lecter escapes. That scene features Charles Napier, who was also the vice of the Hulk. Edward Norton, who appeared in the prequel Red Dragon (2002), also played Dr. Banner in The Incredible Hulk (2008). See more »

Dr. Bruno: We were wrong. We should have helped Joleen be with her mother. We shouldn't have tried to prevent what was so natural.
Dr. Kate Lowell: Yes, we shouldn't have.

The Prodigy
20 November 2014 | by (North America) – See all my reviews

David Banner(Bill Bixby) while trying to fix a car he purchased(for a change!) is assisted by a young girl named Jolene Collins(played by Robin Dearden) who turns out to be a runaway child prodigy who is being used as a research subject for the Kirkland Institute which is in hot pursuit of her, though Jolene only wants to meet the mother who gave her up, and enlists David's help to take her to her L.A. home, while trying to evade the police and change the heart of her reluctant mother. Heartfelt if a bit melodramatic episode with Dearden giving a fine performance, and amusing sequence of her exposing Psychic Surgery as a fraud while they work picking grapes with migrant workers.
