With the two actors having each headlined a 1960s action series following a World War II combat unit, Christopher George with this episode becomes the only regular from The Rat Patrol (1966) (in the role of Sgt. Sam Troy) to have worked with a regular from Combat! (1962), in the person of Vic Morrow (who played Sgt. "Chip" Saunders in that series). These same two actors were also the only stars from either of those intense war drama shows to have worked with a regular from a third such show of that era, Garrison's Gorillas (1967), with George having worked with Rudy Solari in the episode of Owen Marshall, Counselor at Law (1971) titled The Break In (1974) as well as with Cesare Danova in the episode of Charlie's Angels (1976) titled Terror on Skis (1979), those actors respectively in the "Gorillas" roles of "Casino" and "Actor"; and with Morrow having worked with Brendon Boone in the TV film The Hostage Heart (1977), Boone having played the "Gorillas" part of "Chief."
