This may be a goof (not trivia), but to be kind, let's give Ricky the benefit of the doubt. His mother, who does not speak English, arrives unexpectedly while Ricky is still at work. As he comes through the door and sees her, he is obviously surprised, presumably not thinking rationally, and says, "Mother! When did you get in?" Surely Ricky, who sometimes lapses into his native Spanish himself when he's excited, would have greeted her in Spanish in the normal course of events. See more »
