"The Yacht Murder Case" opens with Captain Nelson unwittingly volunteering to escort the wealthy and influential P.J. Ferguson (David Brian) and his beautiful daughter Nina (Sharon Farrell) during their one day in Cocoa Beach. Jeannie is disappointed because this means that she can't go for a moonlight drive as he promised, and aboard the Ferguson yacht Nina makes it clear to her father that she desires Captain Nelson. With Jeannie freed from her vacuum cleaner prison by housekeeper Mrs. Flaherty (BEWITCHED's Sandra Gould), she finds Tony relaxing with the scantily clad lovely, disappearing after a stern argument with her master. Unfortunately, this conversation is overheard by Ferguson and his daughter, who conclude that Tony killed Jeannie by tossing her overboard. Roger displays his loyalty to his jailed fellow astronaut: "I believe in you, why'd you kill her?" Tony asks Roger to go to his house and talk to it (he hasn't yet learned about Jeannie's existence). It's quite a memorable sight to see Roger saying such nice things in front of the Nelson fireplace, Jeannie right behind him as he informs her about Tony's troubles, and with Dr. Bellows catching him in the act (the doctor assures him that he'll take care of the vacuum cleaner!). This episode's one shot general is played by C. Lindsay Workman.
