Storyline

Jeannie and Tony go shopping for her wedding ring before they take their mandatory blood tests. Complicating things is the fact that besides the usual red and white corpuscles, genies also have green corpuscles. Because of this, they ask Roger if they can use his blood. However, Roger got a series of inoculations and now Doctor Bellows thinks that Jeannie is a walking germ factory and now forces her to undergo a full physical, including having her eyes dilated and as a result she can't blink. Unfortunately, prior to having her eyes dilated, Jeannie blinked the entire jewelry store into Tony's office to catch a pickpocket who lifted Tony's wallet and worse yet it is during a security drill where no one can enter or exit the base. The things people go through so they can get married. Written by Brian Washington <Sargebri@att.net>

Green blood to match her eyes
30 November 2016 | by See all my reviews

"The Blood of Jeannie" opens with a trip to jeweler Ormandy (Ivor Francis), Jeannie set on a specific wedding ring coveted by Mrs. Horlick (Ruth McDevitt), as pickpocket Mr. Beamish (Ned Glass) plies his trade. Dr. Bellows is drafted to perform a blood test for her and Tony, simple enough for him but complicated by the fact that genies have both red and green corpuscles. Roger supplies his own blood, but with several injections already flowing through his body the doctor at first diagnoses a number of diseases. Still intent on snapping up that ring, she blinks the jewelry store room into Major Nelson's office, Roger recruited to keep the three occupants from leaving, the NASA corridor right outside the door. More frantic than usual, and not for the better.
