Tony handles Jeannie the way Roger can't
8 November 2016 | by (Youngstown,Ohio) – See all my reviews

"Never Try to Outsmart a Jeannie" once again finds Tony trying to avoid taking Jeannie along on a long trip, this time an ocean voyage to Rome ordered by Dr. Bellows. Jeannie remembers being shipwrecked for 2000 years, insisting that she must come along to ensure her master's safety. If she stays behind Roger figures he can get rich quick, but Dr. Bellows puts an end to that by sending Roger to Rome with Captain Nelson. After his initial trick to trap Jeannie in her bottle, Tony placates her by offering to take her along without the bottle if she gets a passport to travel as a normal American woman. A Mesopotamian passport and no birth certificate just doesn't pass muster with the exasperated clerk (Peter Brocco). Twice able to outsmart his genie and survive, Captain Nelson certainly tempts fate in this one.
