Second Hawaiian adventure
29 October 2016 | by (Youngstown,Ohio) – See all my reviews

"Jeannie Goes to Honolulu" was the second of three episodes shot in Hawaii, following "The Second Greatest Con Artist in the World" and preceding "The Battle of Waikiki." Tony and Roger are enjoying a working vacation in Honolulu with Alfred and Amanda Bellows, but have to lie to Jeannie about a North Pole mission in order for her to stay behind. One photo of Tony with a beautiful girl on the beach (actually the admiral's daughter) and he's faced with a jealous genie, furnishing an even taller tale about the girl being a princess involved with spies. The second half of this barren episode features guest star Don Ho performing in his usual style, and the fetching Emmaline Henry's navel gets the exposure that Barbara Eden was never allowed.
