Pontiac, the series vehicle sponsor, had a Pontiacpalooza in this show, all cars updated with 1969 models: Tony's new Bonneville convertible (metallic green this time vs. the three previous blue ones); Roger's Firebird 400, still canary yellow; and even the real estate agent gets a Firebird 400 convertible, in bright orange. In addition, filler shots of Tony pulling up to NASA HQ were not re-shot from Season Two, so his blue GTO convertible makes "cameos" throughout the series. All convertibles are always shot with the top down and the parade boot on.
The abandoned lot was the beach front for the Lagoon on the North end of Columbia Ranch.
The beach front was just used for rodeo scenes in Ride 'Em Astronaut (1969).
Just out of view was the large lake where Jeannie's sister chopped a canoe in two, separating Major Nelson and his date in Tony's Wife (1967).

The scene where Mrs. Natalie Winkler (Joan Tompkins) and Mr Merkle (Ed Peck) are approaching
the Nelson house from the street was filmed on the Columbia Ranch. The scene was restricted to avoid showing a 'private' pool in a 'public' park across the street, just to the right of their car.
The idea of a house appearing and disappearing was used three years earlier in another Screen Gems production, Endora Moves in for a Spell (1966).
The footage of the street view of the apartment building where Jeannie has moved them to is reused three episodes later as the hotel where Jeannie is recruited by [lin=tt0062601 producers and stars to appear on that show.
