Some people say that Hurricane Jeannie should have aired last, but this episode rounds off the series-long genie bottle romance well as Tony finally doesn't care about things going wrong. (This is doubly appropriate as Larry Hagman stuffs up his lines near the end accidentally saying what the viewers saw, before correcting to Tony's narrative.)

Jeannie the knit wit
kevinolzak29 October 2016
"An Astronaut in Sheep's Clothing" celebrates the six month anniversary since Tony married Jeannie, featuring Don Dubbins (not seen since the original pilot) as Commander Jay Russell, forced to salute Gen. Schaeffer with one sleeve six inches longer than the other because his wife knitted him a sweater for a gift. Tony wants his wife to do something similar, not extravagant, so she too decides to do some knitting of her own, despite not knowing how to do it. Roger offers her tips on using cashmere, so she goes out and buys a Tibetan goat, which reminds him to get rid of his cashmere sweaters! She must then hide the presence of the hungry uniform eating goat from her suspicious husband. For once, Tony comes to the aid of Dr. Bellows when Amanda spies her favorite plant in his office, hurriedly rushing it back over to the doctor just in time for her to 'surprise' him.
