it all goes to hell with two glowing eyes
22 May 2010 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Herman & Judith, a young engaged couple, go up to visit Herman's parents. Once there, his mother (Margot Kidder) has some pretty unbelievably bad news to tell Judith about the true nature of their respective men.

Well, Darrell Wasyk is back in the director's chair after his earlier lukewarm episode "Anais", and sadly he doesn't fare better here. The episode started off OK, but veered downwards with two horrendously CGI'd glowing eyes and don't get me started on the 'cavern' scene (the less said of it the better). However he's not alone in blame as writer Bruce Smith is responsible as well. it was also the silliest episode of The Hunger that I've seen. Some of the scenes even seemed like a (particularly bad) SNL skit. This is one outing of this show that you can feel free to skip over.

Eye Candy: Claire Simms gets briefly topless (there's also some fleeting nudity in photograph form)

My Grade: D
