Quotes

Marvin Eriksen Sr.: All right now, no farting around. Put your skates and your pads on, boys. Game on in five minutes.
Lily: You're gonna go play hockey?
[Mr. Eriksen tosses a basketball to Marcus]
Lily: With a basketball?
Marvin Eriksen Sr.: Well, it's a combination of the two. We call it baskIceball.
Marshall: We invented it. It's the most dangerous and awesome sport in the world.
Lily: [Thinks for a second] BaskIceball? Not Iceketball?
Marvin Eriksen Sr.: Iceketball? Just sounds weird.

A Return To Form
15 November 2014 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

A return to form for "How I Met Your Mother" and once again it's all down to one man. And that man is Neil Patrick Harris, take a bow sir.

Plot In A Paragraph: It's Thanksgiving and while Lily (Alyson Hannigan) and Marshall (Jason Segel) visit his family in Minnesota, and an emotional Lily has few problems and is unsure about how her future with Marshall will look like. Robin (Cobie Smulders) and Ted (Josh Radnor) want to volunteer at a homeless shelter kitchen. Surprisingly, They find Barney (a fun Neil Patrick Harris) at the kitchen, who has secretly been doing volunteer work for the past few years.

At the end in the strip club, we learn the mother's name is Tracy.
