When Mark is having his panic attack a nurse rushes to his bedside. When House and Stacy come out of the elevator seconds later, the same nurse is coming out with them.
House collects a urine sample from Mark, and as he pulls out the needle, the syringe is full without any air in it. On the next shot it contains a fairly large pocket of air.
House orders a PET scan to study metabolic activity of Mark's brain. When Forman explains the procedure to Mark, he mentions that they are going to use FDDNP, a PET tracer not capable of revealing metabolic activity. Normally, FDG scan is used to visualize metabolic activity.
House suggests Chase will run like a scared wombat if there is an altercation. Wombats are usually extremely aggressive and defensive when threatened and can reach speeds of up to 40km/h. They can readily chase down humans, knock a human to the ground, can cause puncture, scratch wounds and cause fractures. They are colloquially known as bulldozers of the bush.
Mark says Stacy never has any jewelry except a necklace her mother gave her. But she wears earrings the whole episode.
Around the 28 min mark, House sarcastically suggests that Mark thought he had "spend forty francs on a tour of the Bastille." The Bastille was destroyed in 1789. A ceremonial column stands in its place. Although one can walk around the Place de la Bastille (the open square where it stands), there is no Bastille that can be "toured"in the manner which House suggests.
