How deceitful
xredgarnetx4 September 2006
Julie (DOC Hollywood) Warner adds some real class to an episode that has more than its share of bizarre occurrences. The episode's title NEED TO KNOW fits more than just Warner as a so-called supermom who has built up a wall of lies the team must break through in order to save her from herself. It also refers to Cameron's hesitancy to take her HIV test as the result of a mishap in the AIDS patient episode. House really lets his temper fly with Warner, in a manner we haven't seen pretty much since the pilot episode, when he locked horns with another terrific actress, Robin (THE CRAFT) Tunney. Hugh Laurie, himself a movie actor, often seems to play best against fellow movie performers.

AROUND AND ROUND WE GO!

Warning: Spoilers
So, the medical side of this episode was interesting with a woman presenting with spontaneous movements, which caused her to crash her car. As the show unfolds, we see more and more complications, including cancer and a stroke. However, we learn that all of this is the result of her being on a fertility regiment, (as her second husband wants a child of his own with her), while simultaneously taking birth control because she secretly doesn't want any more children than the one daughter she already has from her last marriage.

All of this plays beautifully into the concept of secrets within relationships and what lengths people are willing to go to in order to maintain those relationships. As House considers everything that has happened with Stacy, combined with her unwillingness (at least at first), to tell her husband the truth and leave him to be with House. However, in a confrontation with her husband, House realizes that Mark is the better choice for her.

Currie Graham, who plays Stacy's husband Mark, does a great job (as always) in his single scene with House and Wilson really shines in this episode, too. And at last, the issue of Cameron's HIV status is finally put to rest, and that reveal comes by way of a particular comical (and cruel, this IS House, after all) moment between House and her later in the episode.

Warning: Spoilers
I'm not really a big fan of the show but this episode was very funny, I really liked it =D.I think that the guest stars were good and a lot of the quotes in this episode were funny.especially this quote.

Stella: What's wrong with your foot? House: War wound. Stella: Does it hurt? House: Every day. Stella: Is that why you're so sad? House: Oh aren't you adorable. I'm not sad, I'm complicated - chicks dig that. One day you'll understand.

Hope everyone enjoy this episode, it's my favorite.Me and my brothers all had a lot of fun watching it and i thought it was funny how house got Cameron to take her HIV tests.

Good episode with interesting drama.

Warning: Spoilers
It's the first time the main plot caught my attention more than the medical case. That manipulative woman was awful. But the actress nailed the part, and gave her more complexity. She was selfish, and honestly you don't do that to someone you love. Especially when she puts her own life at risk. How does she thinks her husband and daughter would react to her death? Just reckless. The House/Stacy fling ends like we would expect. House breaks it off, leaving Stacy heartbroken. This is the first time in the season, that I sided with her instead of him. That part with the husband was funny. I wasn't a big fan of the Stacy character, but Stella Ward was great in that role, and in spite of some interactions with House, interns were given nothing of great value to do this time. The last scene on the roof with Wilson, was also a first for me, when I heard him doing a really pertinent statement about his friend. It was a good episode, but that medical case wasn't as exciting as we expected from the opening scene. And Elle Fanning's scenes weren't either.
