Dual plots that add something

House treats a Type A business executive -- worse yet, a female -- whose leg has suddenly gone numb, and the hospital gets a new boss, a pushy, bottom-line multimillionaire who immediately targets House's department for removal. Chi McBride plays the new boss in truly menacing fashion. Meanwhile, the female executive must deal with a lot worse than a numb leg before the finale, and House gets himself in a major heap of trouble by withholding crucial data from his boss, Cuddy, about the female executive, in order to get her on a transplant list. The new boss strongly resembles the Kingpin from DAREDEVIL, and makes a great foil for House to play against in this and upcoming episodes. Cuddy is caught in the crossfire, and Lisa Edelstein gets to do some superior acting as she seeks to defend House and her own position from the tyrannical McBride.
