- Invention of the week: Eclipse Illuminators.
Wayne and Diane became engaged during a solar eclipse and every solar eclipse is spent together as a family. Wayne creates glasses to watch solar eclipse. Turns out, they see a few seconds into the future, starting with Jake falling off a ladder. From that point on, it is debatable if Wayne is preventing or causing incidents. They decide to get rid of the glasses and the glasses keep finding their way back.
Nick takes a long and boring tour of Stantons Peppy Plaz business. Then the bus has a flat. His chance of meeting his family for the eclipse is improbable.
Diane defends a dog accused of stealing a car. Diane expected the case to be dismissed, but it is not and she may be in court instead of with her family for the eclipse.
Amy expects to get out of her math class, but looses her to be excused note. She searches for it and ends up in detention instead of with her family enjoying the eclipse.
