Synopsis for
"Homicide: Life on the Street" Subway (1997)

Pembleton and Bayliss are called to what some witnesses descirbe as an accident and others as an act of aggression on the platform of a Baltimore subway station.

The victim, John Lange (D'Onofrio), is stuck between the platform and a train that entered the station. Pembleton speaks with Lange, while Bayliss interviews witnesses.

Pembleton assigns Lewis and Falcone to find Lange's girlfriend, who is likely jogging the waterfront, because Pembleton has been assured that Lange's death is certain.

Bayliss finds many details about their person of interest do not add up. One major detail Bayliss learns from another law enforcement agency provides enough history of the suspect for Bayliss to determine whether charges are warranted.
