Col. Burt Granger: [discussing the color of his newly painted office] Does this look like 'Misty Pearl' to you?
Lt. Al Giardello: Wasn't Misty Pearl on 'Hee Haw'... wore the hat with the tags in it?
Det. Tim Bayliss: [to Frank] Where the hell was God when this woman needed Him? Why doesn't Mr. God protect people like Katharine Goodrich or Adena Watson?
Beau Felton: Little kids shouldn't have to listen to anger!
Det. Frank Pembleton: You're not Catholic and you took communion?
Det. Tim Bayliss: Yeah, is that wrong?
Det. Frank Pembleton: If my God wins, you're screwed.
Det. Sgt. Kay Howard: [on the phone with Beau's wife] I swear on my life, my father's, my aunt's, my grandmother's, Beau is not here.
Lt.: [Al's telling her to go home and rest] What if Granger calls back? What if the mayor wants to talk to me?
Lt. Al Giardello: I'll tell them you're in the ladies room.
Lt.: [laughs] Okay, if anybody needs me, I'll be in the ladies room.
Det. Sgt. Kay Howard: [Beau's wife keeps calling Kay to speak to Beau] She didn't marry me, she's not calling to speak to me. Just talk to her, tell her that you're not going to kill yourself, that you miss her, because if she keeps calling me, I *am* going to kill myself.
John Munch: Goodrich may have been a nun but she had terrible parking habits!
Det. Sgt. Kay Howard: [hanging up the telephone] Beau, you better take this...
Beau Felton: Who is it, Kay?
Det. Sgt. Kay Howard: ...It's your son.
Beau Felton: [surprised] What's he doing up this late?
Det. Sgt. Kay Howard: He's crying, he misses you.
[Stares at Felton with sympathy]
John Munch: You want one?
[Munch holds up a blueberry muffin]
Meldrick Lewis: What... is THAT?
John Munch: It's blueberry.
Meldrick Lewis: Naw man, I don't eat breakfast.
[Munch throws the muffin at the wall for no reason]
Det. Frank Pembleton: This is a crime of perversion, not passion.
