Private investigator Michael Ryan becomes involved in blackmail, murder and intrigue as he clashes with the Homicide team. The case centres on The Tango Club, a discotheque which is a front for a high class house of prostitution catering for businessmen. The club is also a front for a blackmailing racket as the club's manager surreptitiously takes photos of guests as they cavort with the club's girls, Nicki and Val. Ryan is hired by a worried and influential businessman to recover negatives of photographs being used to blackmail him. Ryan's methods are not the most orthodox and he quickly comes into conflict with the Homicide squad when Tango Club manager Billy Maxwell is found dead. As a prime suspect, Ryan has to move fast to find the murderer. Another murder is committed before the case is solved - with Ryan and the Homicide team working in confusion, misunderstanding and mistrust. Written by Darren Smith
