Oh No! The Death of Al's Mother! And TONS of Hilarious Jokes About Her!!!
3 December 2009 | by (Washington, United States) – See all my reviews

The jokes about Al's mother were always a staple of the series and was part of what Home Improvement was. Without them, it just wouldn't have been the same show. Every episode that had jokes about Al's mother made that episode loads more funny and after watching an episode with those jokes, those were usually the jokes that we remembered most when the episode was over. They were, in one simple phrase, ROTFL hilarious!!!

Well, this is the episode where Al decides to propose to Trudy, and this puts his mother into a shock that kills her. Instead of making this a really sad episode, they made her death lighthearted with tons of jokes to boot. That's right, because this is the end of Mrs. Borland, HI had to finish her life with lots of jokes about her and they were, as usual, HYSTERICAL!!!

I won't say anything more because I don't want to spoil anything. I'll just say that this is definitely a highlight of the final season with loads of humor about Al's mother, which is one of the running gags that made Home Improvement the best show ever! This is also the last episode before the series finale, and they do a great job of preparing for the finale plot. This is a great episode with tons of HI tradition in it. We say good buy to Al's mother with a lot of laughs! This episode definitely deserves a 10/10!
