Storyline

This is one of the best Palace shows with the emphasis on music and dance. And that should be no surprise since the host is the great Fred Astaire. Fred opens with "I'm Putting All My Eggs In One Basket" and "Steppin' Out with My Baby," and then talks about what's 'in' and what's 'out,' Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass play "Lonely Bull" and "What Now My Love," Louis Nye does a comedy routine about school pageants, Kermit the Frog and the Muppets perform, Helen O'Connell sings a medley of her hits - "All of Me," "Yours," "Embraceable You," "Amapola," "Green Eyes," and "Tangerine," Bela Kremo does a juggling act, Barrie Chase stops the show dancing to the Brass' "Spanish Flea" and "Love Potion #9," Herb Alpert plays "A Taste of Honey," followed by the lion taming act of John Zerbini, Astaire & Chase talk about 5 upcoming TV shows Chase will do in Italy in the summer of '66, and then they close the show dancing to "Boom Boom" and "C.C. Ryder." Written by Tony Powell
