Program Rundown: Fred Astaire opens with "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off" and "They All Laughed." Then Fred jokes about what's 'in' and 'out.' The Rudy Lenz Chimps perform. Comic Ray Hastings does a monologue about dating and bachelorhood. Barrie Chase dances to "St. Louis Blues." British comedy troupe The Nitwits entertain with a slapstick musical number. Astaire attempts to sing "Temptation" accompanied by The Nitwits. Petula Clark sings "My Love" and a medley from "My Fair Lady." The Black Theatre of Prague performs mime. 'Mickey Rooney' and Bobby Van do their comedy act in which Rooney plays crooked politician Horace B. Swindlegrafter. Rooney and Van then sing "You Haven't Lived Until You've Played the Palace."
